He finds it easy to engage with customers, colleagues and people from all walks of life. He has developed a loyal client base, in every organisation he has worked with, and has excellent relationships with colleagues, at every level.
He takes every opportunity for personal and professional improvement which has helped him to develop as a talented and effective manager, and leader, as well as being a successful ‘hands on’ sales engineer. This has provided a platform for him to develop and enhance the skills and attitudes of others around him. The outcome is a productive and motivated workforce that delivers excellent products, and services, resulting in highly satisfied customers and a sustainable business.
He is very driven to succeed and highly organised. He can juggle multiple tasks, simultaneously, using effective time management skills and planning, to enable me to meet, often, tight deadlines. He is passionate about engineering and manufacturing and keenly follows new developments in the field in order to understand the changing sector needs and how this can be applied to current projects. He is constantly scanning the markets that we serve and keeps a sharp eye on the competition in order to maximise opportunities.
Having trained through an apprenticeship scheme, he believes in developing new engineers by encouraging and coaching people through vocational training. He has overseen the education route of apprentices from school leavers through to career changers. He seeks opportunities to take part in activities to encourage GCSE students to consider apprenticeships as an alternative to other further education routes. Something he is keen to continue to develop at HCL as we grow.

Please be assured that in spite of the current challenges presented by the Covid Virus and the national lockdown that we are currently facing, Handling Concepts is fully operational. Our design and support teams are safely working from home whilst our production and service teams continue to operate responsibly in our factory and on the road following the guidance on social distancing, wearing masks, hand sanitising etc. Most sales enquiries will be managed remotely via video calls but our sales engineers are available to visit customers when required.
