This special purpose machinery lifts roofs and floors for portable buildings. As the components arrive at the workstation from elsewhere on the assembly line, a worker uses an industrial touchscreen (also known as a human-machine interface, or HMI) to begin a series of complex lifting and tilting manoeuvres to install the components onto the frame of the portable building. The worker can monitor the progress from the HMI, as well as view any warnings should the components not be seated properly on the gripper.
