Scissor Grip
A scissor grip lifting attachment uses the weight of the product being lifted to generate gripping force, providing a simple and reliable solution without the need for pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical power.
Every scissor grip is designed around your product geometry, gripping features and handling process. The self-energising linkage means that as the load increases, the gripping force increases too, making it suitable for lifting a wide range of products, including those requiring friction grip.
The symmetrical design keeps the load centred throughout the lift, helping to improve stability, consistency and operator confidence. Ideal for lower-frequency lifting applications where simplicity, reliability and low maintenance are priorities.

Best for:
Products with suitable gripping surfaces or features where a simple, self-energising mechanical grip can provide safe, repeatable lifting without the need for a power supply.

Jaw profiles, gripping materials, opening range and handle positions can all be customised to suit the application. Internal or external gripping arrangements are available, and contact materials can be selected to suit both robust industrial products and more delicate surfaces.
We can also offer manual grippers, twin jaw grippers and powered grippers too.
