Handling Concepts was established in 1994. We are a customer-focused organisation committed to providing the best lifting and material handling solutions to a range of industrial problems. In 2006 we acquired the interests of Hertel Mechanical Handling Systems which has expanded our product range and customer base.

Our expert engineers use a pragmatic, unbiased approach to problem solving, working with you to create solutions in line with current Health and Safety guidelines. We offer a range of lifting and manipulation solutions based upon the premise that our ‘product’ is the solution of your problem and not just the sale of a piece of equipment. We have no factory churning out volumes of product and hence no pressure to sell you a particular solution. Our task is to offer you the best advice and the best solution.

Our core values are a belief in professionalism across all activities within our company, coupled to both care for the customer and our staff. When linked with strong financial control and a willingness to embrace product development, these have ensured the continued growth of our company.

The collaboration with Famatec and with SMI has allowed us to pull together a comprehensive range of standard equipment which, when allied with our program of bespoke machine design, enables us to make a meaningful contribution to material handling solutions.
